Interactive SMART Boards upgraded for math and science classrooms at Wausau East -
Support for this project was provided through the B.A. & Esther Greenheck Foundation.
As technology goes it was not a surprise that after four years, SMART Boards in Math and Science classes as Wausau East High School would be faced with the need for upgrades to enhance not only the use but learning through interactive white board technology. In 2007, the Wausau School Foundation partnered with East science teacher, Lauren Ebbecke to successfully secure a grant from the B.A. & Esther Greenheck Foundation that placed interactive SMART Boards in nearly every classroom througout the school.
Support for the upgrades - Phase II - will receive a $43,000 grant approved Wednesday by the Board of Directors of the B.A. & Esther Greenheck Foundation. Installing new boards in math and science at Wausau East and moving SMART Boards into the middle schools will see this grant touching thousands of students - making a difference through enhanced technology consistent with learning and teaching today's "digital natives."
THANK YOU! B.A. & ESTHER GREENHECK FOUNDATION...
for this remarkable support for students and education in Wausau.
