OUR MISSION
The mission of Partners in Innovation is to create opportunities for collaborative dialogue and action among Wisconsin’s business, education, and community partners.
Partners in Innovation (PII) was formed in 2003 as a collaborative effort of several organizations that had a similar vision to organize a series of Business-Education Summits. The idea was to bring community leaders, businesses and educators together to focus on education and workforce development issues. Summits were successfully held in 2004, 2005 and 2006 with attendees from across Wisconsin.

LEADERSHIP IN ACTION CHALLENGE GRANTS
As a call to action of each Summit, Leadership in Action Challenge grants were made available to amplify the work of partnering Business and Education to address the needs of workforce development in today's global economy. To date, over $55,000 in grants have been awarded to create school-business partnerships at various grade levels. The following communities have benefited from these grant opportunities: Wisconsin Rapids, Wausau, Antigo, Tomahawk, Marshfield, Forest County - Laona & Wabeno, and Scholfield/DC Everest
