WE INVEST IN KIDS! Every day in classrooms throughout the District donor dollars are at work supporting children and teachers. We believe "teaching beyond the lesson plan" is important - creative ideas critical in our schools, community, nation and the world.

The FOUNDATION wants to "fuel the fire that has teachers thinking INNOVATION."
Our children are the beneficiaries of creative, innovative teaching and learning that is rigorous and relevant.

TOGETHER with parents, community, business, District Staff and Administrators, the Foundation funds programs in many areas of education - across the curriculum.  The three areas of focus below help create a framework for projects and GRANTS.  

• Invest in Families as First Source of Learning - What do our families need to be engaged in their child's learning?
• Invest in Workforce Development and Career Exploration - What do our students need to be prepared for the world of work?
• Invest in the Dreams and Ideas of Teachers and Student - What are the possibilities for innovation and change for  learning and teaching in the Wausau School District?
